Hello Family and Friends. I will be arriving very shortly hopefully around my due date, October 29th, to meet my mommy and daddy. Right now I am moving all around and pushing on my mommies stomach because it is getting really tight in here. I don't know a whole lot about myself quite yet, but feel free to leave any messages or comments for me. I'm sure Daddy and Mommy will be happy to pass them along to me when I arrive. I can't wait for all of you to love me. See you soon!

Baby Brody's Sleeping Arrangements
Here are a few pictures of the nursery. We have no decorations at this point and have just started to register. Picking out paint colors was difficult. We really wanted to do something different so we decided to go with stripes. We think it turned out great and that we may have missed our calling as professional painters! Baby Brody is starting to get some stuffed animals and clothes from family and friends and it is exciting filling up his room with things that he will wear and play with when he finally gets here!
7, 8 and 9 Months Pregnant
Boy these three months have flown by but these last couple of weeks until Brody's take off have been dragging. Labor is getting scary to think about but we are READY! The Dr. said that I am already 2cm dilated but that it doesn't mean anything and that I could still go past my due date. We are both so excited to finally see what he will look like and whose temperament he will favor more! We will keep you all posted and will be better on updating the blog with baby pictures!
6 Months Pregnant
Getting tighter and tighter with less room for baby Brody to move in. Crazy movement is going on. Kicks are harder and starting to feel more complete body movements with body parts sticking out. Daddy has been feeling a lot of movement lately and we have been starting to read books to him before we go to bed.
5 Months Pregnanat
Getting bigger and looking forward to our ultrasound appointment to see what the baby looks like now! Starting to feel some butterfly movements and light kicks. During our baby visit at the Drs. office, we were able to listen to the heartbeat and the beat sound was continuously changing. The Dr. said "He is an active little guy, and that there is no such thing as too much movement." Go figure that we would be having an active baby!
4 Months Pregnant
Finally past the first trimester. Starting to have more energy and happy to know that Baby Brody made it through it too. At this time there has been no feeling of movement, but looking forward to it:)
It's A Boy!
Baby Blomgren was 18 weeks at this point in the game when we went for our ultrasound. We found out early that he was a boy! She put the machine on mommy's belly, asked us if we wanted to know the gender and said, "Here it is,It’s a boy!" The picture was so clear and daddy was grinning from ear to ear, excited about starting his football team. We were there for about an hour and the ultrasound lady went over everything from looking at his brain, to pointing out his kidneys and looking at his fingers and toes. Baby Brody waved to us at one point throughout the session to say hello so we were able to see 5 fingers. Everything looked good and we are hoping for a healthy baby boy!
There is Something in There...
Here Baby Blomgren is 8 weeks old. We were not expecting to see anything great because we did not expect the baby to be developed that much yet. At this point, his brain was developing but he did not have his hands or feet. This is where we called him baby Buddha because of the potbelly! He was moving at this point with little twitches here and there and that confirmed it for daddy and mommy! We were going to have a baby!
